Our Team

We bring different perspectives to the table, but we’re united by one mission, to combat social isolation and economic deprivation with a sustainable, dignified and professional plan.

Liam Grimes

Driven by lived experience and a passion for community regeneration, Liam is applying his background in scaling global teams to create a high-impact hub to support the community for years to come. He is a Senior Leader with over two decades of experience across SME and Corporate sectors, connecting governance with operational delivery.

Previously serving as a Head of People, People Development Partner, Global Operations Manager, and Lead Trainer, Liam brings both high-level HR and strategic leadership to the CIC, along with hands-on experience and a desire to make things happen.

Liam holds Level 4 qualifications in Business Administration & Management and Post-16 Teaching (PTLLS). He also holds a Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement, Advice & Guidance and is a Mental Health First Aider and Safeguarding Lead.

The Chair of the Board provides strategic leadership and ensures the Board’s effectiveness in all aspects of its role. They act as a vital bridge between the Board and the CEO, facilitating constructive challenge, fostering a culture of transparency, and ensuring the CIC remains legally and ethically accountable to its members.
