Welcome to where it all began. Opened in April 2026, our Mablethorpe hub serves as the founding blueprint for The Community Table CIC—proving that dignified, member-led food access can transform local communities.

In our first five months alone, over 500 local households joined as members. This overwhelming response proved both the urgent need for affordable food security and the strength of a warm, supportive community space. Mablethorpe established the model we now bring to other towns: pairing high-quality grocery shopping with wrap-around community connection.

Why Mablethorpe Leads the Way

• The Proven Model: Our point-based Social Supermarket gives members choice, dignity, and access to fresh produce, bakery goods, and cupboard staples at a fraction of retail prices.

• Driven by Community: Powered by our dedicated local volunteers, Mablethorpe is more than a store—it is a friendly drop-in space where neighbors connect, share advice, and support one another.

• Sustainably Funded: As our flagship trading site, every purchase in Mablethorpe feeds directly into our CIC Asset Lock, reinvesting surplus income back into local services and future youth provision.
